1st words that come to my mind when I put this disc in – honest. This is a cd that sounds great and
played by seasoned vets of the Toronto scene. This cd holds it's ground with any purchase that I've
made over the past several years. At a lil over 34 minutes in length, there is no wasted time –
anywhere. The mix, done by bassist and producer Darius Szczpaniak ( Sacrifice, Famous
Underground, Sum 41) has all instruments fitting well together with no frequency wars.
I am Revenge gets er going right away – no fluffy intros; it's get your elbows up quick and in your
face. Killer guitar tone with vocals that sound like Lord Faulkner gargles busted Jack Daniels
bottles – for breakfast. The guitars are mixed as close to perfect as you can get without having a
gazillion $$ budget. Jason Cuddy and George Giourgis bring it. Victor Rebelo rounds out the
pounding on drums.

There are equal tasty parts of several styles and feels of metal; I hear some old school Slayer mixed
with Vulger Display era Pantera, some hardcore as well as some doomy, southern style grungy chin
waggers thrown in for good measure. The tuning on the guitars is killer and makes me wanna bust
shit up. There are not many lead breaks – but when they do come later on they are played well, sit
perfectly in the tune and have me sayin "where the F**k are the rest of em". It's all about the riff on
this cd and they certainly have bunch of em that do not dissapoint.
My faves are I am Revenge, Unhinged and Regression.
I guess no review is complete without a 1 to 10...so I'll give this cd a solid 8 on 10.
The boys recently played a show in TO that I attended and I got to hear 1st hand some new tunes
that I really look forward to hearing on the next release.
